Request for Proposal,  2027 TAASPYC Symposium

The Texas Association for Administrators and Supervisors of Programs for Young Children (TAASPYC) is excited to offer their Symposium again this year, a premier opportunity for the early childhood leadership community of Texas! We are requesting proposals for presenters to participate in our annual symposium, February 21-23, 2027, in Richardson, Texas. This year’s theme is The Journey Forward, focusing on leadership and advocacy for our youngest learners.

TAASPYC remains committed to innovative ideas and best practices for our target audience, the early childhood leadership community. Presenters will be allotted 1 hour per approved session, with assigned rooms and times. You may send up to three session proposals; please use a separate form for each one. Our organization does not have the capacity for speaker fees or travel expenses for our symposium. However, we are very grateful for your contribution to the early learning leadership community so registration for the conference is complimentary for one presenter per workshop session.

Here are a few details about the event:

• Presentations will be scheduled for sessions in the morning and afternoon of Monday, February 22, 2027.

• All presentations should be interactive and of interest for leaders and administrators (principals, coordinators, managers, instructional coaches, central office staff, etc.).  Topics should be presented with research-based information and highlight developmentally appropriate practices.

• Presenters will not be allowed to sell material during their presentation. Vendor space is available on a first-come, first-served basis, though. Please contact us at taaspyc1@gmail.com for more information on vendor space, using “Vendor Inquiry” as the subject line.

• The Session Proposal form will be submitted electronically as a Google form and must be received by 6:00 pm on November 20, 2026.

• If you are chosen to present at the conference, you can expect to receive a presentation confirmation by January 6, 2027.
